Summer camp shows kids different side of CISD police

The Conroe Independent School District’s police department prides itself on being close to parents and children in the community. For 17 years, Conroe ISD Police Activities League has raised thousands of dollars to host a weeklong summer camp for fifth and sixth grade students.

This year, the Police Activities League spent about $30,000 to host its annual summer camp July 14-17, drawing 263 kids from all over Conroe ISD. Almost 100 kids were from The Woodlands. click here for complete story
