The Conroe Independent School District Board of Trustees gave special recognition to two athletes from The Woodlands High School at their meeting in June.

Ellyana Long, a junior, won the 2015 UIL Class 6A Girls’ High Jump State Championship at the Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 15, 2015.

Adrian Piperi, a sophomore, won the 2015 UIL Class 6A Boys’ Shot Put State Championship at the Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 15, 2015 with a throw of 65’5.25”, a personal best. click here for complete story
