The Conroe High School varsity volleyball team played its season opener on Wednesday, August 12, against the Caney Creek Panthers. The Tigers rallied together for their first game to sweep the Panthers, winning the match in three sets.Watch the highlights.

Victoria Ratcliff, #15 of Conroe, was a force to be reckoned with on the court, quickly helping the Tigers increase their lead in the first set. After a kill by Ratcliff, Conroe was up by 13, with a score of 20-7. After two more solid kills by Conroe’s Kendra Butler, #8, and Neena Brenson, #14, the Tigers took the first set with a score of 25-12, leading the match 1-0. click here for complete story
