The Woodlands High School wrapped up Day 2 of the Nike Invitational Friday on top of their division once again.

The Lady Highlanders defeated Klein Collins , Jersey Village and Cy Ranch on their way to the Gold Bracket Saturday at Cy Woods.

“I was really impressed with the way they played,” TWHS head coach Terri Wade said. “I think that each game that we’ve played we’ve gotten a little better and we’re at the point where we can work on specific things to get better rather than trying to figure out where everyone fits.

“We got to a place where we were building some chemistry today, knowing where everyone was on the court and feeling confident.”

Over all three games, the Lady Highlanders were led by Bella Pinton and Hailey Reier who each tallied 22 kills. Reier also finished with 25 digs. click here for complete story
