A 21-win season is outstanding for most high school volleyball programs in the state of Texas. But the Kingwood High School volleyball program is anything but your average one.
District champions in 22 of the last 24 seasons, the Lady Mustangs look to bounce back from a fourth-place finish in 2014.
Granted, it’s an extremely strong District 16-6A that Kingwood resides, one that includes two-time defending state champions The Woodlands, but fourth place (21-9, 7-5) isn’t up to Kingwood Mustangs volleyball tradition.
