The Manvel Police Department is investigating a crash that killed a 17-year-old girl on Highway 288.
The crash shut down all northbound lanes of 288 at Croix Road, about a mile north of Highway 6.
Police say it was around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when six young people stalled out in a Pontiac in the freeway’s mainlanes. A Subaru struck the Pontiac from behind, killing the teen. Three others in the Pontiac were taken to the hospital, police say. Everyone in the vehicle was said to be of high school or college age. click here for complete story
