With holes to fill, The Woodlands nevertheless confident past success a prologue for future
The Woodlands has a lot of questions.
It lost both quarterbacks from last year, standout running back Patrick Carr and most of the front seven on defense in a huge graduating class, leaving it with plenty of holes to fill entering the season.
But the Highlanders have a well-established track record of success, and they don’t expect that to change.
“The kids who are stepping into some roles, who weren’t varsity players last year, are coming off an undefeated JV team, so they got some valuable playing time last year on a JV team that was very successful,” coach Mark Schmid said. click here for complete story
