Back in May Kingwood quarterback Dawson Trudell led the first team offense for the Mustangs out onto the field in their annual spring game.

It wasn’t Trudell’s first time to be the main man for Kingwood under center, but it had been a while since the junior had seen the gridiron.

Entering Kingwood’s second District 16-6A game last season, Trudell had been given the reigns of the offense to lead them against Summer Creek. But his opportunity would be short-lived. click here for complete story
