After last week’s loss to Morton Ranch, Oak Ridge wanted to make a statement against Aldine. Friday night, the War Eagles ran the Mustangs out of Woodforest Bank Stadium—literally. With 394 yards on the ground, Oak Ridge cruised onto a 70-22 win over Aldine.
“The guys really showed up,” Oak Ridge coach Dereck Rush said. “The offensive line did a great job blocking and the running backs did a great job running. They got over some of those first game jitters from last week. Overall they did pretty good.”
The War Eagles handed the ball off 45 times Friday night and were racking up 8.77 yards a carry and it didn’t matter who was carrying the ball. click here for complete story
