The Woodlands girls and boys cross country teams swept the Friday Night Lights cross country meet held at Bear Branch Park in The Woodlands last Friday.

Both the Highlanders and Lady Highlanders won team titles despite not having runners finish in the top five.

“It was a great meet,” The Woodlands Coach Hansen said. We are really happy that teams can come out and enjoy the format. We have great boosters and parents, but we also had a lot of support from the community and the and Parks and Rec department does a really great job.”

The Lady Highlanders had all of its top five point scorers finish in the top 20 of the girls Varsity A race to hold off Katy Cinco Ranch for the team title. click here for complete story
