55ddcc61e75cd.imageOn Aug. 25, Deputy Abdelbaky conducted a traffic stop in the area of Woodlands Parkway and Ashlane. Upon making contact with the driver, Deputy Abdelbaky observed him to have glassy eyes and slurred speech. After an investigation, the suspect, a 28-year-old male, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.


 

On Aug. 27, Deputy Drake was dispatched to 1100 Lake Woodlands, in reference to two shoplifters in custody. The suspects, a 22-year-old female and a 27-year-old female, attempted to take $1340.71 worth of merchandise from Target. The suspects were taken into custody and charged with felony organized retail theft. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.


 

On Aug. 27, Deputy Cherry and Deputy Johnson were dispatched to 3451 Tangle Brush Drive, in reference to a disturbance. The suspect was being detained by Senior Sergeant Varnell upon their arrival. The suspect, a 25-year-old male, was found to have damaged the complainant’s windshield and console of her vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody for criminal mischief, as well as an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.


 

On Aug. 27, Deputy Prince conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block North Millbend. Upon making contact with the driver, Deputy Prince noticed a strong odor of alcohol and marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The suspect, a 30-year-old male, was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.


 

On Aug. 29, Deputy Nichols was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands, in reference to two shoplifters in custody. The two 16-year-old females attempted to take $140 worth of merchandise from Macy’s Department Store. The suspects were charged with theft and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility without incident.
