Neither side was particularly spectacular on the night, but it didn’t matter. Summer Creek will take the ugly win.
The Bulldogs (3-3, 1-1) held District 16-6A opponent Conroe in check all night, and got away with a 25-7 victory over the Tigers Friday night at Turner Stadium.
Conroe (3-4, 0-3) was held to just 248 combined yards and 11 first downs, much of both coming after the game had been put away by the stingy Summer Creek defense.
