After a couple years of rumors, the Lakers finally and officially revealed their black alternates, which will be worn for “select games” this season. They’re awkwardly named the “Hollywood Nights” uniforms, because the design apparently “acknowledges the celebrities like Jack Nicholson that have long supported the team, but also serves as a nod to the huge number of people that work behind the scenes to make up one of L.A.’s biggest industries.”
