The quarters, dimes and nickels collected by the Change for Charity program at Market Street – The Woodlands have paid off in a big way for St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital.
The shopping and entertainment destination presented the hospital with a donation of $2,245 as a result of coins deposited into one of its 68 non-governed parking meters during the second quarter of 2013. An additional $500 was collected and donated from “Cars and Coffee for a Cause,” a showcase of classic cars presented by The Woodlands Car Club at Market Street the first Sunday of every month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
