In their first scrimmage of the 2013 season the Cavaliers displayed a veteran defense and diverse offense.

After a 90 minute weather delay and an hour of controlled plays, the Cavaliers finally had an opportunity to let the defense off the leash with a live quarter – and the veteran defense did not disappoint. With a defense filled with summer track and field stars the Cavaliers stunned their opponent with their speed on the first play which led to 3 consecutive false start offensive penalties.

The Cavalier offense will have defensive coordinators busy as the Cavs offensive line showcased their football IQ and blocked for 6 players who equally advance the ball down field. One mistake by a defense and the Cavaliers will have a big play.

The Cavaliers open the season on the road against Livingston @ Lions Stadium on Friday at 7:30pm
