The Woodlands High School volleyball team passed a huge road test on Tuesday against one of two other state-ranked teams in District 14-5A.
The No. 1 Lady Highlanders (26-0, 2-0) broke a 1-1 tie and went on to take the measure of No. 6 A&M Consolidated (23-8, 1-1) by a 3-1 score. Courtney Quinn and Madison McDaniel were strong at the net while Courtney Eckenrode played her usual steady game to lead their team to victory.
