USA Baseball has announced the 40 players named to the 2015 15U National Team Trials roster following the conclusion of the 15U USA Baseball East and West National Team Championships in Florida and Arizona.

The 15U National Team will be managed year by College Park (Texas) High School head coach, Jason Washburn. He will be assisted by Gulliver Preparatory (Fla.) head coach Javy Rodriguez, Mike Strickland (Marist School — Ga.) and Rob Shabansky (Gateway Community College — Ariz.). Team administration will be overseen by 15U National Team director, Brooks Webb.

At the conclusion of Trials, 20 players will be selected to the 2015 USA Baseball 15U National Team, which will compete in the COPABE “AA”/15U Pan American Championships in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Aug. 21 to 30. The final roster will be announced on USABaseball.com.

Players selected from the 15U National Team Championships join players previously selected to this year’s trials from the 2014 USA Baseball 14U National Team Development Program and the 2014 USA Baseball 14U National Team Identification Series, both held in Cary, N.C., last August.
