No one has to tell Robert Walker what Stedman Bell’s return meant to the Conroe Tigers last week.
No one has to tell College Park coach Richard Carson, either.
“When you get your leader back,” Carson said, “it’s going to give a team some confidence.”
Bell, the Tigers’ starting quarterback, returned to the lineup to lift Conroe to a 21-14 victory over Bryan last week. The Tigers (4-2, 1-1 in District 14-5A) make the short trip to face the Cavaliers (3-2, 0-1) on Friday night at Woodforest Bank Stadium.
