Cinco Ranch handed The Woodlands High School’s ice hockey team its first loss of the 2013-14 season on Friday evening at the Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center.
Although The Woodlands led by two goals at the end of the first period, courtesy of forwards Isaac Babcock and Austin Guidot, the team could not capitalize on a number of scoring chances throughout the second. Turnovers and slow line changes led to Cinco Ranch scoring four goals in the second period alone.
