FOOTBALL: Oak Ridge’s Letney a dual threat

Braden Letney took the snap from center and moved to his right. Teammate Kwame Etwi was poised to take a handoff. The Conroe Tigers’ defense played Etwi all the way.

Letney cut upfield and went all the way himself, fooling the Tigers on a 68-yard touchdown run that put Oak Ridge in front 20-12 last week at Buddy Moorhead Memorial Stadium.

The War Eagles’ quarterback added another quick-strike score, a 58-yard touchdown run, in the third quarter as Oak Ridge rolled to a 41-18 victory. Click here for full story
