The Cavaliers (4-4, 1-3 in District 14-5A) allowed touchdowns of 48, 58, 31 and 54 yards against the Panthers (3-5, 2-2) in a game with crucial playoff implications.

“Our kids played hard, we just made some mistakes that we don’t typically make,” College Park coach Richard Carson said. “I told everybody going in, Lufkin can play. I don’t care what their record is. But I’m proud of our kids. I’m proud of their effort.”
