Survive and advance. No. 1-nationally ranked The Woodlands did just that on Friday night as they defeated Allen 25-21, 25-20, 25-18 at the Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum on the campus of Sam Houston State University.

The Lady Highlanders (42-0) will face off against Plano (28-13) at 5:30 tonight in the Region II-5A championship. The Lady Wildcats defeated Round Rock 3-0 on Thursday.
