Dozens of Houston-area lacrosse teams participated in the University of Texas Shootout last weekend. The popularity of lacrosse is at an all-time high and the city of Houston is becoming a hotbed of talent and state-ranked teams.

The Woodlands, Kingwood and Seven Lakes participated at the DI level along with the Houston Hurricanes. The DII schools included the Cy-Fair Ironmen, Taylor, Clear Lake and Lamar High Schools. click here for complete story and additional photos
