Interfaith makes holidays merrier for seniors

The Senior Services from Interfaith of The Woodlands spread fun and holiday cheer to more than 75 seniors at the South County Community Center Dec. 16.

The seniors enjoyed a turkey lunch with all of the trimmings, a fun ice cream bar and holiday songs being sung by tThe Senior Services team frohe fourth-grade honor choir from Snyder Elementary. Other festivities included music and bingo games with holiday items for prizes.

“We are thrilled to be able to get our area seniors together and spread some holiday joy. It is a wonderful opportunity for our seniors to celebrate and spend time with each other,” said Dr. Ann Snyder, president and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Residents from South Montgomery County who participate in activities at the South County Community Center were invited to enjoy the festivities, which was hosted by Interfaith of The Woodlands and The Friendship Center. click here for complete story and contact information
