First-year Oak Ridge coach Gareth Glick, who was hired in May to replace Jason Fanning, has had a few months to work with his Oak Ridge boys soccer players now, and he’s pleasantly surprised.
The War Eagles are hungry, their receptive and, best of all, they’re interested, with roughly 100 players in the program this season.

“They’re desperate, and they’re ready to win, so they’ve bought in and done a really good job,” Glick said.

“The offseason’s been good and we’re ready.”
