The Woodlands Lady Highlander soccer team looked to keep pace with first-place Oak Ridge on Tuesday as the Lady Highlanders hosted Lufkin at Woodforest Bank Stadium. An early mental error by the Lady Highlanders turned the ball over in their own box and Lufkin capitalized getting a shot to go through the back of the net in the 8th-minute as Lufkin held a 1-0 early lead.
