The Highlanders lost to Coppell 2-0 before defeating Belton 6-3 in eight innings in the Highland Park tournament on Thursday. Michael Francis took the hard-luck loss against the Cowboys. He allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk with four strikeouts in five innings.
