Mitchell Fountain won the Texas High School Powerlifting Association state championship on Saturday, setting a weight class record to repeat as the 220-pound champion. Fountain, who also plays football for the Highlanders, had lifts of 700 pounds in the squat, 430 pounds in the bench press and 435 pounds in the dead lift for a state-record total of 1,865 pounds. click here for complete story
