Baseball: The Woodlands, Oak Ridge ready for 14-5A showdown

After defeating College Park on Saturday, The Woodlands will try to keep its momentum going and knock off another crosstown rival on Tuesday.

The No. 6 state-ranked Highlanders (19-3, 5-0) will face off against No. 10 Oak Ridge at 7 tonight at War Eagle Stadium. With a victory, Oak Ridge (19-2, 4-1) can move into a first-place tie with The Woodlands in District 14-5A.

The Highlanders used a strong outing from pitcher Luke Sherley on Saturday to defeat the Cavaliers 4-2 at Scotland Yard.
