The Woodlands Highlander baseball team took sole possession of first place in District 14-5A a little more than 48-hours ago, however the Highlanders traveled to Oak Ridge Tuesday night, as the War Eagles were just one-game back of first place. The War Eagles would take an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on a Joey Barrile single. The Highlanders respond in the top of the second inning with four runs with two-outs as Ben Gooch singled tying the game 1-1, then Luke Sherely and Chris Andritsos go back-to-back doubles, giving the Highlanders a 4-1 lead in the top of the second. click here for complete story and post game video
