The Woodlands extended its win streak to 13 games with a big win at Conroe on Friday.

Luke Sherley led a 14-hit attack with three of his own, including a pair of doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored, as The Woodlands High School baseball team ran away with a 19-2 triumph on Friday over the hosting Conroe Tigers.

If that weren’t enough, Sherley, the Highlanders’ starting pitcher, threw three innings of perfect baseball, striking out five of the nine batters he faced, to pick up the win on the mound. Aaron Milone and Mark Doerries finished up for The Woodlands, which improved to 21-3 overall and 7-0 in District 13-5A play while extending its win streak to 13 games. click here for complete story
