Oak Ridge drops to 4-3 in district after 0-2 week

The Oak Ridge War Eagle baseball team looked to bounce back from a tough loss to The Woodlands Tuesday night when the War Eagles hosted Bryan for Senior night with sole possession of second place on the line.

In the top of the second inning Willy Amador gets a single and RBI to the left-side as the Vikings take a 3-2 lead. We move to the bottom of the fifth inning when Riley McKnight shows off his football speed with an infield single. Next batter is Alex Walker and Walker would strike out on the play, however make it to first base on a pass ball by the catcher and McKnight goes to third. Walker is called safe, but then the umpires get together to discuss it and they call Walker out on reversal, so there’s two outs for Oak Ridge.
