College Park saw three of its tennis players advance to the Region II-5A semifinals on Tuesday at the Waco Regional Tennis Center.

College Park’s Niko Moceanu defeated Plano East’s Varun Shrinivasan 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 in the first round of boys singles. Moceanu continued his success in the quarterfinals, taking a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Westwood’s Alec Bakersville. He will face Austin Bowie’s Jack Cobb in the semifinals on Wednesday. In mixed doubles, College Park’s team of Austin Walker and Kaitlyn Walker defeated Lake Highlands’ McKensie Lubs and Eric Speer 6-1, 6-1 in the first round. click here for complete story
