The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees gave special recognition to Mitchell Fountain, the 2014 Division I Boys’ 220 Weight Class Powerlifting State Champion. The Woodlands High School powerlifter was named State Champion on Saturday, March 22, at the Taylor County Expo Center in Abilene, TX. At the state meet Mitchell squat 700lbs, bench pressed 430 lbs, and broke a state record for dead lift with 735 lbs.
