Caitlin Bartsch carried The Woodlands through the first four innings and Abby Langkamp slammed the door as the Lady Highlanders completed an unbeaten run through District 14-5A on Thursday night.

The Woodlands scratched out three runs in the second inning and relied on its pitching and defense to stop Oak Ridge 4-0. The Lady Highlanders improved to 26-2 and 12-0 in 14-5A play while Oak Ridge, the district’s second-place team, fell to 16-11 and 8-4 respectively. Oak Ridge will face the winner of a playoff game between Klein Collins and Spring, which tied for third place in District 13-5A, in the bi-district playoffs.
