Lone Star College System Board of Trustees approved, 6-1, an increase in tuition and technology fees for the 2014-15 school year, with Trustee Kyle Scott opposing.

Students will now have to pay $42 per credit hour, compared to $40 last year and a $9 technology fee compared to $7 last year. The credit tuition rate was last increased for the 2010-11 academic year and the estimated impact will be a $2.3 million increase for the college system. click here for complete story
