The Woodlands’ boys water polo team took home a third-place finish at the TISCA State Championships, held this past weekend at the University of Texas at Austin.

The Highlanders, coached by Kent Kirchner, scored a total of 49 goals on their way to winning matches over Denton Ryan (11-6), Brazoswood (14-6) and Southlake Carroll (18-11). The Woodlands’ only loss of the tournament came to St. Marks (14-6). click here for complete story
