The Woodlands spent the first two weeks of spring football without its big guns – quarterback Chris Andritsos and running back Patrick Carr. Andritsos was in the baseball playoffs and Carr made the state track meet. But coach Mark Schmid said, though they weren’t practicing after school, they were still a part of the football team’s offseason.
“We’ve seen those guys every day in our athletic period,” Schmid said. “They haven’t been doing anything, but they’ve definitely been there, (and) been a part of what’s going on.”
Now they’re a part of everything going on. The Highlanders baseball team fell to Austin Bowie in the area playoffs, and the track and field season ended with the state meet last weekend, so Andritsos and Carr were full participants Monday. click here for complete story and photos
