The Woodlands High School graduate Paige McDuffee helped the UCLA Bruins win the Los Angeles Regional in the NCAA Division I Softball Tournament over the weekend, earning a save in a 1-0 victory over Notre Dame. McDuffee tossed 2 2/3 innings of relief to record her second save of the year, fanning one and also allowing two hits and two walks. McDuffee, a sophomore, teamed up with junior Ally Carda for the four-hit blanking in the circle, while senior Jessica Hall drove in the game’s lone run. click here for complete story
