A Texas woman with a chic cosmopolitan sense, Elaine Turner combines her love of exotic travels and colorful spaces, creating a collection of luxury handbags and shoes for every woman. Elaine launched her eponymous lifestyle brand in April 2000, starting with eye-catching handbags that exude a little sexiness, a lot of glamour and the ultimate in femininity that work for all of life’s occasions.
“You don’t have to be at the Louvre or in Anguilla, these accessories perform at your local restaurant and even on the soccer field,” the busy mother of two says.
Elaine’s Design Inspirations
Elaine’s first handbag was inspired by raffia, which she was using to re-paper the walls of her Houston home. Jokingly, her husband Jim suggested she cover a handbag in raffia and viola-the Jackie bag that launched her fashion empire was born. Her designs will always include elements of bright grasscloth, glitter hair calf and cork—along with her pink jacquard lining, bamboo accents and crown hardware
