Free for veterans, Class Act Productions presents South Pacific

Veterans or active duty military get in free to Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein’s South Pacific,which will conclude its run by Class Act Productions this week, with the final show being at 2:30 p.m. on July 20 at The Woodlands College Park High School Theater. The Broadway musical will also be performed at 7:30 p.m. on July 18 and 19. Tickets start at $15.

“In order to show our appreciation for those who have served or are currently serving in our military, we are offering complementary seating to veterans and active military,” said Katherine Navarra, Marketing Director for Class Act Productions. “The entire family will enjoy this production because of the talented young performers, excellent costumes, and fantastic orchestra. It will transport the audience from their everyday lives.”

Jenny Gee stars as Ensign Nellie Forbush and Alec Michael Ryan stars as Emile DeBecque. The entire cast of this production ranges in age from 9 to 19, but Navarra said the young actors’ performance equals that of any adult cast.
