Kingwood’s Gabby Stanton made a verbal commitment to play basketball at Rice University on Tuesday. The Lady Mustangs senior-to-be was the All-District 13-5A Offensive MVP last season and helped Kingwood reach the area playoffs. Verbal commitments are non-binding.
