Former two-sport star focused on hitting with Strykers this summer
Hitting is an art form, and Lance Miles has been working relentlessly this summer to create a masterpiece on the baseball diamonds of the Texas Collegiate League, the canvas sitting in front of him.
His instrument of choice? A black and yellow Marucci Professional Cut bat, handcrafted in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It’s worked well for him so far this summer, and his .299 batting average with the Woodlands Strykers is evidence of that. But what’s more important than the bat he wields is the knowledge he’s gained through two years of collegiate baseball and the mindful execution of each hack he takes at the plate.
Miles, a 2012 graduate of The Woodlands High School, grew up under the guidance of his father and hitting coach, Dave, and this summer has served as an opportunity for them to continue the work they started together years ago. click HERE for complete story & video
