For more than 80 years, the Crighton Theatre in downtown Conroe has produced plays for the community to enjoy.
Adding to this tradition, the theatre’s summer youth drama camp will present the popular musical “Robin Hood: The Courtship of Allan A’Dale,” from Aug. 7-10. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
The camp has approximately 60 local students, many from the Magnolia area. Wendy Albright, a theatre arts teacher at Magnolia Junior High School, said all proceeds will go to renovations for the theatre. Albright is one of the five camp directors for the play and believes the production is a great musical for people to see. She appreciates how the community supports the theatre.
