The start of another school year has kicked off in Conroe, and the construction of the Texas 242 Flyover on I-45 has already shown issues for early morning commuters.
According to Conroe ISD, road construction near 242 has caused transportation delays in both the morning and afternoon, but the district’s Transportation Department as well as administrators monitor and research routes to minimize the impact of the construction.
In a Transportation Task Force meeting in June, officials from PTP Transportation said the $33 million project is expected to be completed by December, and that is still on pace according to Montgomery County Precinct 2 Commissioner Craig Doyle. click here for complete story
