The Woodlands Mall’s newest anchor store, Nordstrom, made its glamorous debut with fashion, champagne and charity at its Grand Opening Gala last night.The gala benefited Texas Children’s Hospital – The Woodlands, raising more than $160,000.

“It’s fantastic,” said Julie Barrett, a gala attendee and employee of Texas Children’s Hospital. “I’m so excited they actually chose Texas Children’s to be the beneficiary … The store looks beautiful. I think it’s great for The Woodlands.”

Attendees were given red-carpet treatment, from valet parking to waiters offering drinks just inside the store entrance. click here for complete story
