College Park dominated Montgomery’s Moonlight Madness meet on Thursday night.
The Cavaliers placed four runners in the top six spots to defeat runner-up Kingwood, 30-42. George Ranch (75 points) was third, and Montgomery (112) finished fourth.
The Lady Cavaliers had three Cavaliers in the top four and five in the top 10. They scored 26 points to runner-up Kingwood’s 30. Magnolia (128) was fourth. College Park’s Stacie MacDonald finished second in 20 minutes, Camila Cortina (20:03) was third and Georgia Burner (20:03) placed fourth. Brittney Prince (ninth, 20:26) and Pilar Glaser (10th, 20:35) rounded out the top five. The Lady Cavs are ranked No. 1 in the state among Class 6A teams by txrunning.com.
