“With social media as big as it is, people don’t want to be photographed in the same dress,” said Misty Clow, owner of Couture House. A little over four years ago, Clow opened up her own store and offered designer dresses, accessories and tuxedos to buy or rent.

For a flat rate of $99.99, ladies can rent a dress for 3 days and then return it to Couture House, instead of letting it collect dust in the back of their closet. “With dresses costing $400 and up, renting is a responsible thing to do,” said Clow.
