After his team knocked off Katy, snapping the Tigers’ 50-game, regular-season win streak, Mark Schmid had plenty to talk about.
The Woodlands head coach was asked about quarterback Matt Bonaguidi, who threw for a touchdown and ran in another in the fourth quarter to all but seal the 24-7 victory in the senior’s third start. He was asked about a defense that held its second opponent to single digits. And Schmid also was asked about a player who only saw the field during warmups.
