A.J. Sanders took a last-second pitch from College Park teammate Robert Ferguson and cast his eyes toward the end zone.
The Cavaliers’ first victory of the season was in sight. Sanders scored on a 16-yard touchdown run to lift the Cavaliers past Aldine Davis 35-28 on Friday night, giving College Park a jolt of momentum heading into District 16-6A play.
“I just followed my blockers,” Sanders said. “My linemen and receivers did all the hard work. I just punched it in.”
College Park takes a 1-3 record into its 16-6A opener against Atascocita, while Davis falls to 1-3. click here for complete story
